About Nawartu
نورتوا — what you say to a guest as they walk in. “You brought light.”
Nawartu exists because finding somewhere decent to stay in Syria still mostly happens through someone who knows someone. That works, until it does not — and it leaves out anyone arriving without the right contact.
So we built the contact. We find properties, visit them, photograph them properly and represent them ourselves. When you write to us about one, you reach the people who have actually been inside it.
There is no booking engine here on purpose. Dates, access and payment in this market are better settled in a conversation than by a checkout page, and every stay gets one.
Where we work
Damascus and its hills, the coast at Latakia, and a smaller number of properties in Homs and Idlib. The catalogue grows by invitation rather than sign-up.
